About the lighthouse:
The 100-foot tower is situated at the southern tip of the island and marks the entrance to St. Simon's Sound, off the coast of Brunswick, Georgia. Built in 1872, this pretty lighthouse is outfitted with a third-order Fresnel Lens from France, which makes its light visible 16 miles at sea. Overall lamp height is 24".

The Willet, in russet tones with accents of black and red, stands alone on his pretty native wooden platform as a solitary statement and warm country expression. Each shorebird is hand-carved and hand-painted as an original work of art, and no two are exactly alike. The Willet is about 9" long, and the lamp stands about 24" high overall. We've topped this one with a cream bone linen shade and brass ball finial. Three-way switch is provided.
